Good Afternoon Spring Student-Athletes and Parents,

I hope you are all holding up OK despite these challenging times. I also hope you can find some positive moments wherever and whenever they may come.

I would imagine by now that you have seen the news about Governor Wolfe’s decision to keep schools closed through the remainder of the academic year. We are still coming to grips with this decision, and the impact it has on the GA Community. If you are like me, you had been expecting the worst and hoping for the best. Mr. Schellhas addresses some of the impacted activities in his email earlier today, and unfortunately, spring sports are included in canceled activities.

I have asked our coaches to continue to find meaningful ways to connect with your student-athletes. We know that sports can bring people together. Many of our students find their most meaningful connections through our teams and their teammates, so we must find creative ways to stay connected.
